I recorded the proceeding of the final for the benefit of Li Yong Bo, Yap Kim Hock and other brothers who were unable to join. Unfortunately I did not catch a good rally (I am sure we witnessed a few). Please rest assured that the final is more action packed than what is shown in the few video clips here.
The top seeded pair, Joo Chuan and O Pui played to the form book by beating the surprised finalist – Ah Pek and Huey Kaey.
The match is umpired by Ah Pong, who is also the competition chairman. It is a smooth running competition and no disputed decisions or calls. Even Ah Ham also did not complain much, other than the wet weather condition in Penang.
This is THE highlight of the Double Fat illustrious badminton career. Hope they will join force to publish the Hui Xuan soon.

It is definitely a sweet memory for me and I really enjoyed it. We have become mature enough for being serious but no argument over the match. Anyone to share with us what happened after the Chung Ling dinner?
