Dream House?

Ah Pek brought Elephant and I to visit under-construction house of his elder sister. Both of us keep wowing when touring the house. The maid's kitchen is definitely bigger than our living hall!
How can you be so rich?
May be the secret of success is to be a King Scout when you are young.

I am having problem to send out email via my streamyx account, hence I use our blog instead.

We have been very quiet after the Carnival. To stimulate some topics for discussion, I have written an interesting article in my website on "Girl that puts SEX as her 1st priority". This topic will be interesting for those golden bachelors and may be some married men as well (after 7 years of marriage). Of cource, our long life hui chang is the only exception species. He will rather read newspaper than to read this 'rubbish'.

Moon Cake Festival

I am sure some of you may missed the Moon Cake Festival in Penang. There are a lot of celebrations around Penang during this festival and I happened to attend one of them. The video clip is a performance by Chung Ling Private School. It is good to enjoy the Chinese classical music.

真心英雄和朋友

I would like to share this short video clip too. This was the finale of the Chung Ling Reunion Dinner. We sang 真心英雄 and 朋友.

As 非洲 (who is in his 7th day of high state) said this to O Pui and I "This group of friends are all very "transperant" one. I enjoyed the mixing around very much (though he was drank most of the time). Jin Jie Kueh Gian"

I concur with him. For those who missed it, this is the Jin Jie Kueh Gian gathering. Hope all the brothers will be there again in 2012!

Though O Bah, Axel, Chiang, Ang Tao are not with us, their pictures appeared on the stage too - a sign of they will be joining in 2012.

Btw, Huey Kaey made us proud by doing a good emcee on that night. It an extremely difficult to control crowd, but he did well.

Chung Ling Tour with Lau Ee's pick-up truck

I'm testing to post something to the blog. Following photo was from Aham email. I thought it would be a good memory to have this photo of 16 猛男 of 我们 fit into Lau Ee's pick-up truck that brought us to tour Chung Ling. Cheers...

The Best of Wo-Men Badminton

I recorded the proceeding of the final for the benefit of Li Yong Bo, Yap Kim Hock and other brothers who were unable to join. Unfortunately I did not catch a good rally (I am sure we witnessed a few). Please rest assured that the final is more action packed than what is shown in the few video clips here.

The top seeded pair, Joo Chuan and O Pui played to the form book by beating the surprised finalist – Ah Pek and Huey Kaey.
The match is umpired by Ah Pong, who is also the competition chairman. It is a smooth running competition and no disputed decisions or calls. Even Ah Ham also did not complain much, other than the wet weather condition in Penang.

This is THE highlight of the Double Fat illustrious badminton career. Hope they will join force to publish the Hui Xuan soon.

The results also proved that if you would like to excel in Badminton, please stay back in Penang.

The complete results will be shared with you later.

All Winners!

We have 2 group photos on brothers posing with the trophies. One for the winners of the trohies. The other one with the rest of the participants admiring the trophies.

However, from the broad smiles from all brothers, we are the winners! We should make 8 pairs of trophies for the next tournament. The participation itself is a winning!

Ang Tau, we need you here!

O Pui and Prince decided to do something that was banned when we were in school. I am surprised that none of the prefects – Pek, Elephant, Keun Wei, Pong - took any action.
Ang Tau, we need you to take down their school number and send them to Ah Liao’s room.

11th GT(S) Log Cabin, here we come again!

There has been more changes at the back part of Chung Ling than the rest of it. Unfortunately we now have more cement than woods and greens.
We met few Rover Scouts and Guides preparing for Campfire in MBS. As we have seen before, log cabin is no longer made up of logs. We still have the field for the activities but gone are the ping pong table in the room, Quartermasters’ parangs, and the bamboo trees along the river side.
Ah Pek, Keun Wei and I were recalling the good old scout days while in the car. We then left puzzling why the Troop Leader of Junior A Troop was not the original 人才from Junior A Troop.

Carnival Dinner

We have 26 adults and 11 children attended the Carnival Dinner. It was held at Sarkies Corner of E&O Hotel. We occupied three tables. HoKo will share more pictures soon.

We had a good catch up. Tua and Ham were able to join us after flying back from Singapore. Thanks to the wives who were there to share our joy. The 2nd generation enjoyed themselves too, playing pokemon and merry go round. My little girl was full of excitement enjoying the lollipop and following the 姐姐running around the restaurant.
We had small fireworks display. We took group photo to finish off the official function of the night.

3 Generations of T Shirt

We now have 3 versions of T-shirts. Ah Pee's 我们appeared in all three of them. The most controversial one is the 2nd one done during Ham's reign. Many brothers did not have this one. Did you have it?

Keun Wei still keeps the first one in a very very good condition - even the pink colour is still so bright.

All these have to be collector's items, indeed.

爱吾锺灵

We have many photos for the carnival gathering. Most of them are still in cameras of the brothers. Please share with us when you have downloaded, or better still, post them to the blog direct.

But, the BEST picture of all, has to be this ONE.

For the brothers who were unable to join us just now, it was an emotional return for all of us to Chung Ling again. Can't describe the feeling. I think all of us just felt really good to be able to step on Chung Ling compound and to do that with the excellent company. 16 of us were there. In addition, OKwang also joined us during Carnival Dinner.

Thanks to Mrs Koo of being such a friendly photographer and so supportive of the event throughout.

Thanks to the Highest Authority Committee Members for making this such a clock-work event.

Stay tuned for the recording of other happenings.
