I can't remember when did we change the date of AGM from Ang Mo New Year to Ting Nan New Year. I think it happened in early 90s.
We proceeded to HouKor’s palace after persuaded by Kok Chun Khai. We were fed by non stopping serving of food and unlimited drinks. We then had the AGM to nominate and elect Hui Chang. Like the previous years as well, the new Hui Chang also won by one slim vote.
Thanks to HouKor for hosting us and for the pictures. We like the design of the house though not designed by the best architect in Penang (some say in Ipoh and China too). We were delighted by your hospitality and we will definitely go back :)

I guess this is really a "Hari ini dalam Sejarah" for Tong Xue Hui since we have gone at least one full round and mark the new begining with Cheong Tatt elected as our new Hui Chang. Only two weeks into the office, we can already see many gathering, activities and even our very own blog spearheaded by our new Hui Chang (definitely much better record than most of our local politicians after being elected). Keep it up!
guys...i just realised that our blog is pretty "exposed" security wise because almost everybody can see and add comment on it...

Chiang, the blog is meant for public. There is a feature that I can activate by restricting to email addressees that I invite. However unless all brothers sign up, we are not able to impose that restriction.
aiyoh..like that ah...then is it safe to share TKP stories?? will ah sohs set up a task force to screen our postings on daily basis???
Not encourage to share TKP stories la. We should self regulate. There are many good clean jokes that we can share.
brothers.... i understand that we may be all very busy after a week break during cny. However, we penangites are busier as you know Anwar is cominglah, Guan Eng also want to rule penanglah, MCA also come to criticise inefficient of penang goverment and finally Dr Gerakan Lim is coming also looking for Anwar 'backside'. So, as reformasi of 'Wo-men', please first register yourself as contributor of this blog
