This is where you can get the best bargain for school uniforms, stationeries, tuala (or for that matter, any general items that you can think of) and the most complete necessities required for a wedding. I brought my mother to buy pagoda shirts and pajamas for my dad yesterday. Ham's dad said that they are forced to move out in 2008 to pave the way for another development. They will move the 心益shop to their Lebuh Noordin's house.
All of us have very fond memory of this place. At times, we hope that Ham's mum, dad, sister, uncles would continue to be too busy selling stuffs in 春满园so that we would not get caught watching interesting movies at Ham's house.
Ham's house has to be the undisputed club house for us in 80s!
Farewell 春满园。Sadly, when I was trying to take the picture of the writing of the place, I could not find any. It was either covered by other signboards or it was just simply dissapeared.
I also tapao ow-chiang at the stall nearby. Ham used to claim that 邓丽君ate there before. It is still taste very good.

Ah Ham, Tua and I talked about this when I was in Singapore last week. I guess by now, Ah Ham should be back in Penang to help out with the packing and perhaps, the good old "back to school" sales...

a lot of changes have taken place and more will be. we have fond memories of ah ham's house and the movies that we used to watch..ah ham uncle would come back and pick up his merchandise and we would be like some stupid idiots staring at the blank tv screen, recovering our mind from the very erotic scene on TV momentarily ago..funny. Ah ham parents and uncle were probably laughing at his, we were so naive to think that they did not know..haha
Ha ha we also talked about our adventurous movie experiences yesterday : the big box at my house, how elephant started his 1 hour cycling trip to Joo Chuan's house 1 min after receiving calls, Arabian movie, animal movie, excellent time and location planning with diversity and redundancy etc.
Huey Kaey said we can even made a movie out of them!
