The enthusiastic brothers and family waited at the Jetty at 11am for the 11.30 ferry trip to Pulau Jerejak. After a short delay of 30 min, finally, the ferry departed and headed to the Jerejak Rainforest Resort. The whole journey took 15 min.
After checking in and having a hearty lunch, prepared and contributed by Ah Sohs, the game began. Game Masters, How Ko and Hongso, rallied all the kids for telematch. Turkey chipped in by introducing the "Chop Chop" game to the 2nd generation; the game was an immediate hit and drew in the participation from brothers as well (Video below). Of course, the telematch was pushed to its climax when O Pui hosted the "Simon Said" game and made the kids' faces turned pale with his unique style of command.
Next, all the brothers and family proceeded to the highly challenging activities - Rock Climbing, Suspension bridge crossing and Flying Fox. Many brothers and juniors attempted to reach the summit of the wall and Tatoo was the first brother to achieve this challenge. However, the steep wall was not the only challenge Tatoo faced, he was being challenged very closely by Lau Ee Junior. With the cheering and moral supports from the 2nd Gen, Lau Ee Junior was leading Tatoo with 2 arm lengths. Obviously, Tatoo never gave up and by leveraging on every drop of his "milk sucking" strength, he came out ahead and did not disappoint the 1st Gen, as shown in the video. From this activity, it is clear that the 2nd Gen has stepped up their competitiveness and to all brothers, we need to keep ourselves fit to face their challenges next year.
I wish I can share more videos but my lousy camcorder ran out of battery and that's all the videos I have ... I promise, next year I'll bring a portable generator with me..
Overall, it was a well-organised event and thank you for all who involved to make this day a memorable one for many of us. Happy New Year.

Next year the 3 muscular boys Jia You, You Ngee and Chun Khai can carry the generator sets for Chiang to ensure uninterrupted power supply for video recording
That's a fantastic idea.
Chiang, thanks for uploading the video, I did not do it because uploading video always take a long time.
Another idea is - in a few years time, we can have a challenge trophy for games between the 1st and 2nd generation. We can have badminton, volleyball, chess, bowling, rock climbing etc. and overall winning team to take home challenge trophy.
Good idea, Tatt but we will have to wait until your brilliant son to grow up first!
