同学会之光（二）

This was taken when Yu Qian was in KL participating in a competition hosted by RTM. I think she got a consolation prize, probably this is not judged based on meritocracy.

同学会之光

This is the excellent performance of Lee Yu Qian, the princess of Ah Pek Hoe, in the Penang Children Singing Competition. Her voice is awesome. It reminds me of Paul Potts (but of course Yu Qian is much more charming).

Yu Qian is the most senior member of Wo-Men 2nd Generation. We are proud of you, Yu Qian.

Before the big day

We sent the highest ranked highest authority committee member, Ah Pek, to World Badminton Championship to learn about the organization of the badminton competition and also to document new techniques of lob, net play and smashes. We need to make sure our organization and competition is of the highest quality.

We had the KL delegation - Elephant, Chin Seng, Zhe Shean and I - to accompany Ah Pek. In the process, we hope to also witness a Malaysian in one of the finals. However it was not to be. The closest that we got was a Malaysia umpire for the Women's singles final.

The highlight for the afternoon was to jia yu (together with few charming Chinese supporters) for Lin Dan against Sony and the deafening Indonesian crowd.

Squash with Nicol David

This was taken a month goal. Shi Rui and I watched the finals of the CIMB Malaysia Squash Open at the Curve. Ham watched it live at the Singapore Open too the following week.

For the record, Nicol and Azlan won the double titles for Malaysia. How we wish Malaysian Badminton can be as good.

Btw, we appeared on TV? Any brothers caught it?

Eye on Malaysia

Ah Pek's 3 family generations visited us in KL. Using the highest authority that I have, I decided to sanction this as official event for Wo-Men.

We took the opportunity to go Eye On Malaysia at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa.
Just some facts :

• The Eye on Malaysia is the Ferris Wheel with 42 gondolas.
• It started operation on 6/1/07 (despite the CF issue, or the lack of it).
• You can have a 360-degree panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur during a 12-minute ride that goes 60 metres high.
• It offers a magnificent view of Kuala Lumpur and over 20 kilometres (though we can't see that far on that drizzling night.

My girl, Shi Rui had good fun with Yu Qian and Qi Lun. Qi Lun and Shi Rui bought and miniature ferris wheels, miniature fan with light and balloons. We had a 30min wait before boarding on the gondola. The wait was mainly due to the need to board the passengers in batches. I have taken few pictures during the ride but the products from my non-DSLR cameras are not so good. We were sitting on the 28th Gondola.

We have a date!

The Honorable Highest Authorithy Organizing Commitee comprising of Ah Pek, Huey Kaey, Keun Wei, Pee and Pong met and decided.

Our Carnival will be held on the National Day (Malaysia one, not Sillypore).

We will have

1. Badminton Competition in the afternoon
2. Dinner at E&O Hotel
3. Bowling/Lepak/Karaoke
4. "Etc!"

What are your lucky Colours? - Master Pek

八字阿和

Ah Pek is very passionate with his 八字 nowadays. Here's some of his views (notice that Pek's English also improved after studying 八字):-

• Recently, I am very excited to learn BaZi to anticipate one's life. I have just managed to predict that my sister-in-law is going to have a baby girl this year and it happened. I am very curious to study your BaZi to see whether will you get married in the near future. Do you might to tell me your date of birth inclusive the time of birth??
• In BaZi, we need your year, month, day and time of birth to be accurate. There are your 4 pillars. 天干和地支 batang dan akar.
• Honestly, without your time of birth, I don't know how to start.
• Guan Voon has just provided me with his time of birth and I have done the calculation of his BaZi for him. All private and confidential. I just email solely to him. BaZi is a wonderful knowledge to learn. It is great 'heritage' from our ancestor.
• Nowadays, people around the world is excited to learn about the knowledge that passed down from our ancestor such as 易经, 孔夫子学, 孙子兵法. Bazi 八字 is originated from 易经.
• A lot of us will ask what can we do to enhance our luck in getting wealth. In term of feng shui, the main wealth corner for this year is at the South-west and the 2nd wealth area is the East because the flying star 8 & 9 are at that corners. Hence, to enhance your wealth, put water at the South-west and East corner of your house and office. Feng shui is talking the place you spend your time most. Thus, if you spend more time in office, pay more attention to your office. The place that we have to take particular care is our bedroom because you spend averagely 8 hours in it.

Ah Pek's prediction on Huey Kaey

• From your BaZi, my advice to you is from this year until your age 48, you shd be a defender. 以退为进. Be careful of your money management. Avoid big investment. Be aware of prople around you that ask you for money. Then you be better. However, after 48, you will be wonderful lucky star.
• 我曾经帮你算命, 你今年如不结婚, 就是赚大钱. 看来你今年应该是赚大钱吧!
• My miss calculation, I went back and double-checked my calculation of your BaZi, you shd getting married next year, not this year. Sorry...sorry...Thus, don't have to be rush. Prepare for next year. Congratulation!!!
• 别担心, 你的夫妻宫没有相冲. There is no reason you cannot get merried. 不只没有相冲, 而且还对你有助力, 尤其是对你的父母更好. Hence, please get merried in 2008 and you will have a baby girl in 2009. That will be good for you as from reading your face, your luck will be affected in your age 39 and 42. 喜事将把这个杀冲掉. Congra!

Ah Pek's advice to Ham

• Put a glass of water, can ? what if south west & east are not corners ? What about health & marriage luck ? please HELP !
• Answer :-
• Don't have to be corners?? Just put water at the south west and east region of your house. For this year marriage and baby luck is at the East region of your house, hence I advise Keun Wei to make baby at the east region of his house. To further enhance it, put 4 plants at that area. 4 bamboo plants are the best. For health, avoid the centre and north east of your house for this year. Put a metal music box there.

Who is our lucky brother?

Ah Pek revealed that one of our brothers will be getting married soon. Based on my latest status (and hopefully the correct one), those who are still staying as diamond bachelors are

Like Ah Tua, my money is also on Joo Chuan too.
